What we believe We Believe in the Bible God’s Word. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It is His revelation to man giving us the way of salvation and a guide to living the Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We Believe in One God. There is one God who has always existed in three distinct but equal persons-the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:18-20)

We Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born to a virgin, lived a perfectly sinless life, died to provide us with salvation, was buried, rose again and ascended into heaven where He is today. (John 14:6, I Timothy 2:5-6)

We Believe in the Sinful Nature of Man. Every human being is sinful and totally unable to meet God’s standard of righteousness. Mankind can only be redeemed by placing his faith in the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. This is the only basis by which man can be forgiven of his sins. (Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-3)

We Believe in Salvation through Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross to pay the penalty for our sm. Every person who believes in Christ’s finished work on the cross receives the gift of salvation. (John 3:16, Acts 4:12, 1 Peter 3:18)

We Believe in the work of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has the Holy Spirit living within him and through His presence is given the power to live a godly life. (Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:16-18)

We Believe that Jesus Christ Will Return. Jesus Christ will someday return to take all believers to heaven. Believers will spend all eternity in heaven with the Lord and the lost will be cast into eternal judgment (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:11-14)
